The 10th Global Alliance for Justice Education in Bandung, Indonesia provided an opportunity for me to present with students, faculty and NGO members from Missouri Western State University in the U.S.A., Taunggyi University in Myanmar and NGO partners at FNB Nepal. It was a great experience.

An activity at the 9th Worldwide Global Alliance for Justice Conference in Puebla, Mexico. Britane Hubbard, pictured at left in the photo, was the Honors Student of the Year for 2018 at Missouri Western State University. She earned this award through leadership in the Legal Studies Association and Student Government Association (SGA) and for her scholarly activity. She has presented at several national and international conferences besides the one pictured here. She was the lead author on the article below about mobile clinics in Nepal.

Chrissy Clark Gillis co-presented on our work on Mobil Legal Aid Clinics in Nepal in several venues. Her presentation in Indonesia was her first international experience. We also co-authored this peer reviewed journal article.

This research team from Kolkata, India and Kathmandu, Nepal, conducted a community needs assessment on domestic violence in their respective countries. The Kolkata team even developed a handout to give people after they surveyed them to educate them about domestic violence. We presented our work at the GAJE 8th Worldwide International Conference in Turkey in 2015. The Kolkata team then published this article:

Dr. Shailendra Gupta, standing on my right, was the co-director of the Legal Aid Clinic at the Banaras Hindu University Faculty of Law. He helped me form this research team to study India Legal Aid Clinics. Sumit Kapoor at the far right of the clinic lead the team. He also lead the presentation at the GAJE 7th Worldwide Conference in India and co-wrote the article featured at the right.
